I have two children (ages 4 & 8) enrolled in classes and it was by far the best decision we have made. My 4 yr. old is still learning discipline and structure and I’m amazed at in just the little amount of time we have been coming that he has picked up showing respect towards everyone and is working really hard at being disciplined. My daughter is/ can be extremely shy in certain settings, and before she never would have done this, but she asked to enroll and she has just come out of her shell and is doing great and has a lot more self-confidence. This has been an answered prayer for my family!!

Red Dragon is seriously the best karate school ever. It is super clean, the facility is super nice, the parent area is right where you can watch your child and there is even a "kids" area where siblings can go watch cartoons and play. All that before I even mention anything about the classes. Bill Whitworth is so dedicated to teaching children and adults not just kicking and punching, but life skills. My kids learned more there than my husband and I ever could have taught them. I get so many compliments about my sons and honestly, Red Dragon gets the credit. We tried our best to be good parents but what they learned about confidence, respecting others AND themselves, I know they learned there. This truly is the place to go to help your child be all they can be.

Virtual martial arts classes offer most of the same training that kids get in person, but there are some elements that change out of necessity. For example, students can’t spar with one another in a virtual class.
They’ll need comfortable, loose clothing. If they already have a uniform from a regular class, they can wear that, but shorts and a tee-shirt will work just as well. It may be helpful to put a mat down to offer a bit of protection.
Yes, although it’s a good idea to have somebody supervising your kids while they take the class. Our instructors are experienced and skilled, and our virtual curriculum is designed to be easy to follow and to emphasize safety.
Yes, they’ll work hard during class. We’ll also encourage kids to practice between classes to improve their skills. Even on days when they don’t have a class, they can hit the mat.
Yes, we still allow for testing. It’s important for kids to feel that they’re making progress and they can do that at home with help from our instructors.
